6 useful gifts for men – recommendation

Every year the story is the same: what to buy my dad? For my husband? Should I even buy them anything? Buying gifts for men leaves a deep mark in the life of every wife and daughter, in my opinion. We usually go for the consumables, but I’ve put together a list of things to choose from in the online shop if you want a practical and long-lasting gift: 

Gifts for men – for household needs

Bottle opener

I grew up running into promotional bottle openers everywhere we went. In my own home, there was no way I wanted a bottle opener that didn’t fit our home. A brass bottle opener looks like a bracelet, yet it’s beautiful and gets the job done

Wine storage in the fridge

Staying with wine and alcohol for a bit longer, a fridge wine storage is a handy tool. You can even stack several on top of each other to maximise the space in your fridge. And when you don’t have any wine in stock, a wine cooler can also be used to store mineral water or soft drinks.

The reverse is also true, if you have room for wine in the fridge, you can maximise the quantity. In other words, only exceptionally at large parties should it now happen that half the fridge is full of alcohol. On most grey weekdays, 1-2 bottles of wine are allowed in the fridge. If you talk this through, everyone can enjoy the fridge, you just have to learn to prioritise.

Somehow razors never seem to have a place in households. Most of the time they lie on the counter, gathering dust, easily accessible to any underage person. Last but not least, it is the least hygienic solution. Whether set up next to the tap or in the shower, the razor rack is easy to use and offers a solution in terms of space utilisation.

If you are used to working from home, it can be a help if you have a tidy desk. You can finish a project much more efficiently if everything has a place in the drawers too. Yes, in a drawer, it’s a good idea to break items down into categories and put them in a clearly visible separate place so that you can find everything quickly when you need it. 

More efficient work, more relaxation.

A drawer organizer is a tool to revisit the contents of your drawer and prioritize them. You can put the most important items on the top shelf and less frequently used items in the drawer further away from you. And once you’ve sorted your drawers, you’ll be more inclined to get up from your desk in order and start the afternoon with your family.

Many people say, and I agree, that a happy mother makes a happy family. I can think of it the other way round, if the man can transform himself as easily as possible from the world of work to the more relaxed world of home, then the afternoon will be much less stressful and the family will be happier.
